Bill Murray held an AMA recently, an AMA (for the initiated) is Ask Me Anything and is held on reddit, one of the most popular sites on the internet and dubbed "the front page of the internet". You should have a wee read as it's very honest and funny, as most things Bill Murray does. Any how the upside is that when asked where his favourite place to golf was he said Ireland and had these kind words... Who wrote this?Christopher J Caldwell. I saw this live last night at the Pony Panto and I was blown away. The video has garnered some 20,000+ hits since the start of December, and rightly so. Merry CHRIStmas!Sir Christopher J Caldwell. Would you like to donate to Movember?vi·ral /ˈvīrəl/ Sadly I haven't spotted anything going viral from Ireland this week, however there was posted possibly the greatest video ever. Jean Claude Van Damme does the splits on 2 moving trucks and I think this speaks to us all on a universal level, no boundaries of geography, just sheer awesomeness! As if that wasn't good enough then C-Tates (or Channing Tatum) posted this parody video from the set of the 21 Jump Street sequel! Ah, the internet, what's it like eh? BBC ATL Review: The Magic Numbers BBC ATL Review: Rams' Pocket Radio, A Northern Light, Serotonin vi·ral /ˈvīrəl/ For the uninitiated LAD (or Loyalists Against Democracy) was started as a parody FB account to make light of the "Fleg" protests last year, although at the start it seemed a few thought it was a legitimate site. Anyway the site has gone form strength to strength and when they're not getting chucked off Facebook they're maintaining their Blogspot, tumblr and twitter accounts. Now they're asking for videos for their upcoming Christmas single and they need you. All the details can be found here. Make sure to have a wee poke around the site, it's very funny. BBC ATL Review: The Magic Numbers BBC ATL Review: Rams' Pocket Radio, A Northern Light, Serotonin Final Boss Media is the collective name of these 2 Irish lads that have gone viral with their hilarious videos of them talking over the top of youtube videos. I first noticed them for their ramblings over videos of "Talifornia" (which is basically Ireland's answer to Jersey Shore) which you can still check out on their youtube page. They describe themselves as: Peter & Chris are two dickheads who laugh at the world to feel better about themselves. They have over 7 million views on youtube and their latest video is of them besmirching the Miley Cyrus - Wrecking ball video, to date It has nearly 1.5 million views and is pretty fecking funny. North·ern Vi·raland Noun A made up term to discribe viral content from (Northern) Ireland Anyone will know that in the past few months, little Hannah Montana has evolved into a fully grown Miley Cyrus and is celebrating by asserting all of her new found feminine whiles all at once (by swinging around naked on a wrecking ball and licking things, a lot). But what has this got to do with our beautiful little land mass, I hear you ask! Well, Ireland's favourite controversial singer- song writer Sinead O'Connor has offered the troubled star a word of advice, in the form of two open letters (yes, two). These letters have been all over the media, purely because the whole thing is so absurd. Here's an extract of the first letter: "The music business doesn’t give a sh– about you, or any of us. They will prostitute you for all you are worth, and cleverly make you think its what YOU wanted.. and when you end up in rehab as a result of being prostituted, “they” will be sunning themselves on their yachts in Antigua, which they bought by selling your body and you will find yourself very alone." Sinead is currently on her 5th open letter that You can read right here here. Might be easier to check out this mash-up for wrecking ball and Nothing Compares to you.
